Surprisingly I Enjoyed My Walking Holiday

To go out and do lots of activity based things has certainly not ever been an interest of mine. My opinion was that I do a lot of activity at work and would rather just sit on a sunny beach and enjoy the glorious sunshine or even sit around a pool in a nice cosy villa.

However this all changed when I was invited to go on what I thought to be one of those waste of time active holidays however when I received the invite I had a bit of holiday left over and thought screw it I will just go. After booking it I was then told the news that it wasn’t just an active holiday but one of those walking holidays.

So as you can imagine I was not too happy about walking for a week however I still went ahead and jetted off to my destination. I had a change of heart as soon as I started the journey, I could not believe it. I was able to see the world for what it was and it was great to get out of the city and into the great wilderness. The best part for me was to actually look at the wildlife during the walk.

We had no troubles at all with our suitcases or anything like that as we were walking from one inn to the next everyday with our main cases always one step ahead of us, being dropped off at the next stop. We only really needed the the things for the day which was really brilliant. The thing I was most worried about was my Diabetic items simply because they need to stay cool, but it all turned out fine.

We actually went on a Costa Rica Holidays but there are so many other active and walking holidays out there to choose from, it changed the way I thought about the world and it may be worth going on one yourself.
