I have read different books on the topic of wilderness first aid, but this book is the best ever. Although hands on training can not replace any book, this book is a course by it self and will definitly help you through any course on the matter of wilderness first aid.
If you are serious about wilderness survival, this book will be of great value to you.
The level of this book is easy to read and very easy to understand for anybody. It is very obvious that they know what they are talking about.
Even with some professional first aid training under my belt, this book gave me the confidence to trust in my abilities (in all types of situations). A must have on any backcountry trip!
